Looking For Fun Things To Do In Navarre?
On Monday, our little 3rd rock from the sun will be experiencing a total solar eclipse! Here in Navarre we will experience a partial solar eclipse, beginning at approximately 12:36 pm, peaking at 1:55 pm and ending at 3:13 pm.
It is not safe to watch the solar eclipse with your regular sunglasses, no matter how dark they are. You need special solar viewing lenses that comply with ISO 12312-2 international standards. If you hurry, you can order them from Amazon and get them before Wednesday. Viewing any part of the sun even through your camera lens without a special solar filter will instantly cause severe eye damage.
The next total solar eclipse that will be seen from the United States won’t be until the year 2044, so don’t miss this one!
