Since 2016 Leap Day has also been celebrated as Leap of Kindness Day. A day where we commit to an act of kindness. A donation of time, talent or treasure, (ie: dollar bills), to someone in need. We are put on this earth to be a contribution to others. This is a good week to reflect on what good we can be doing for those in our our community and beyond.

Day 1 for the South-Basic CERT Class at the Holley-Navarre Fire District.
If you would like to train to volunteer in Santa Rosa County, this is the first of six classes to be taken over a two week period.
Saturday, Feb 24th
Community Yard Sale at Pik-itz, 9 am to 1 pm.
Contact Pik-Itz to register, then clean out all those things that don’t bring you joy anymore, and bring them down to the Community Yard Sale.
Shark School at Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, 8:30 am to 10 am
Tickets are $15 for participants, and $7 for an accompanying parent.
Explore local Gulf Coast sharks, learn the role sharks play in maintaining healthy oceans. Also enjoy shark arts and crafts and a shark tooth treasure hunt!
